Garou: Mark of the Wolves Arcade Cheats and Tips

This game's rating system was conceived to evaluate your performance in every fight , here is a full list of the ratings :

MIRACLE

SSS

SS

S

AAA

AA

A

B

C

Several factors come in play to determine which rating you will receive as you win such as :

Time (how long did the fight last and how much time remains)

Amount of damage taken

The strategies/moves used

The pace of the fight (who dominated more or had the most advantage)

If you want to get the highest ratings like SSS or Miracle you have to give your ABSOLUTE BEST and COMPLETELY dominate the fight and DESTROY your opponent , like for example :

Achieve a perfect victory (0 hits received)

use special/super moves at every chance you get (including the finish)

achieve vitory in the fastest time possible (likely in less than 15 or 20 seconds)

On the other hand if you experience a very hard time and barely manage to win (like being tightly close to losing , taking too long to win or even worse win via timeout) then you will get the lowest ratings such as B or C (these ratings will keep you from reaching the true final boss Kain in arcade mode) .

This game follows a good/bad ending pattern , meaning you will either get the true ending (aka "good ending") which translates to your character's actual ending , otherwise you will get the bad ending which is simply grant's defeat scene albeit with alternative soundtrack before going into credits roll

In order to get the good ending you have to reach the true final boss Kain R Heinlein , here are the conditions :

Defeat all opponents including Grant without any continues

Get victory rating of AAA (or higher) in every stage (not necessarily in both rounds , getting it once is enough everytime)

Never get a single victory rating below A

With all conditions achieved then Kain will certainly appear and beating him will reward you with your character's true ending

Before the 'Character Select' screen appears hold ALL 4 attack buttons and then move to the character you want and either press 'Start' or let the time run down.
