These can be killed by throwing a boomerang away from them and then jumping over their heads. When you do this the boss turns to look at you and the boomerang hits the back of his head.

Pause gameplay and press Right, Up, B, A, Left, A, Down, B, A, Right, Down. Then highlight 0 and press:

A = Increase Lives By 1/Toggle Infinite Health on and off

B = Stage 1 Highlight 1 and press: A = 80 Lives & 25 Boomerangs, and more HP (Press 'Start' to confirm)

B = Stage 2 Highlight 2 and press: A = Increase HP by 1 (Press 'Start' to confirm)

B = Stage 3 Highlight 3 and press: B = Stage 4 Highlight 4 and press: B = Stage 5 Highlight 5 and press: B = Stage 6

Press 'Pause' and the 'A' button during gameplay to toggle the music.
