Pokemon Emerald Game Shark Codes

Last Updated: by Richard

Thanks to emulators and Gameshark it's really easy to use Pokémon Emerald cheats. We've been around for over 20 years and over that time we've collected not only the best Pokémon Emerald cheats, but the biggest number too. On our site you'll find all of the popular favorites but also a ton of unique cheats and codes that you probably won't find anywhere else.

Pokémon Emerald Cheats

On this page we've curated this cheat list our top 17 favorite Pokémon Emerald cheats, so whether you are looking to stock up on Master Balls, get unlimited rare candy, encounter a particular Pokémon, walk anywhere on the map, just scroll down to get what you need.

1. Rare Candy Cheat

Rare candies are an essential item in Pokémon games that can help you level up your Pokémon faster. Instead of grinding for hours to level up your Pokémon, you can use the rare candy cheat to get instant results. To get unlimited rare candy enter the following code in the cheat menu and activate it, you don't need anything else, no master code for this one:

Activate this cheat, then check your PC:

Activate this cheat, then check your PokeMart:

82005274 0044

Don't forget to deactivate this cheat when you are done with it.

For more in-depth insutrcuctions including a video of how to enter the code follow this link to the Rare Candy Cheat on our website.

2. Master Ball Cheat

Usually there is only one master ball in any Pokémon game, and with it you have a guaranteed 100% success rate of catching any Pokémon that you throw this ball at. So this is why getting unlimited master balls is one of the most popular cheats in not only Pokémon Emerald but across all Pokémon games.

To use this cheat, simply go to any shop and enter and activate the following code in your cheat menu. You don't need a Master Code, just enter the following four lines of code as a single GameShark code.

Alternative CodeBreaker Code

There is another option too, you can enter the following as a CodeBreaker Code:

Don't forget to deactivate this cheat when you are done with it.

3. Walk Through Walls / Ghost Code

The walk through walls codes is always a fun one to try and if you want to get from A to B quickly then activating the walk through walls code is a great way to quickly zoom around the map.

Simply add the following two line code and the master code if you need it and activate the code to have free roam of the map.

7881A409 E2026E0C

8E883EFF 92E9660D

and the master code (since this is GameShark v3 / AR) is this:

D8BAE4D9 4864DCE5

A86CDBA5 19BA49B3

As always, remember to deactivate the code when you are done with it.

You can find more info about this cheat here: Walk Through Walls Cheat

4. Wild Pokémon Encounter Codes

Meet any Pokémon you want with this code. Simply go through the list and input the cheat code which corresponds to the Pokémon you want to meet and catch in the wild. You can use it in conjunction with the shiny cheat, and the level modifier cheat too.

While the cheat is short and easy to use, the list of encounter codes is pretty long, so instead of reproducing the whole list here, please head to the Pokémon Encounter Cheat and check out all of the details and start bumping into any Pokémon you want in Pokémon Emerald.

For convenience however, we've put the cheat code for Wild Pokémon Encounters here along with some of the most popular encounter code requests.

5. Level Modifier Code

The standard advice is to just use one code at a time, but when using the wild Pokémon Encounter cheat, you may also want to modify it's level so use this code at the same time as a wild Pokémon encounter cheat to set the level of the next Pokémon that you meet.

Follow this link to get the full list of Level Modifier Codes in case you want a particular level. Again, this list is quite long, so best to head straight to the page with all the codes so you can get the code that you want according to the level.

For conveniece here are some of the more popular levels.

Add this code as GameShark before adding the following code.

Catch Other trainer Pokémon

B8D95CFE 06ED6EA1

E151C402 8A229A83

8E883EFF 92E9660D

Activate both codes, and then while you are in battle, hold down l+r together before throwing your Pokeball and you should then catch your opponent's Pokémon.

Bad Egg Warning

Some players may get a bad egg instead of the Pokémon, if this happens to do you don't save the game as you won't be able to get rid of the bad egg.

Getting a bad egg could depend on a number of things including the version of the game you are playing, and which emulator you are using.

For more details, and to read comments from other players about this code head over to this page on our site.

12. No Random Battles

This no random battles codes is particularly useful when using the walk through walls code, because the last thing you want is a random encounter when you are in the middle of a hedge! It could well glitch your game. It's also a handy code to activate when you just want to run around within the game and not be disturbed by random encounters, which can be annoying!

Master Code:

9266FA6C97BD

905B5ED35F81

B76A68E5FAB1

No Random Battles Code:

32C96211F488

13. Easy EXP Code

Activate this code and then go into battle to quickly gain EXP. Nice if you just want to quickly add a bit of EXP without touching any other cheats. When you have enough, just deactivate the code in the cheat menu.

82000060270F

82022D48270F

82022F7C270F

8202309C270F

820241F0270F

For more info about this cheat, and to read any comments, follow this link.

14. Unlimited Money

A57E2EDE A5AFF3E4

1C7B3231 B494738C

C051CCF6 975E8DA1

How to Use Pokémon Emerald Cheats

If you are using an emulator, then all you have to do is go to the cheat menu of your device, copy and paste the code you want, save it and activate it.

There are a couple of things to bear in mind though. Only have one cheat activated at the same time. The more cheats activated together, the more likely you will encounter glitches. Save your game before you activate cheats, and only save again once you are sure that there are no problems with your game.

FAQs

How to use these Pokémon Emerald cheats?

You either need the original game system and cartridge and a Gameshark device, or you need to play the game on an emulator.

Which is the best emulator to play Pokémon Emerald on to get these codes to work?

We tested all of our codes using the Visual Boy Advance Emulator (VBA), while other emulators may work too, this is the one that we used when testing.

How to use these Pokémon Emerald codes with VBA Emulator?

You can download the VBA from their website, it is available for PC, Mac, iOS, Android and Linux.

Then to enter the codes, you simply add them via the cheat menu, to get to that just click on cheats when you have the game running. Then click on Gameshark and enter the codes from the lists above, Make sure to save your cheats and label them well so you can find them easily.

How to use these cheats with the My Boy Emulator?

It's more or less the same process as described above for the VBA. Download the emulator from the official site of MyBoy then enter and save the codes in the cheat menu. Activate the cheats when you are ready and deactivate them when you are done.

How to download Pokémon Emerald Roms?

While we cannot link directly to Pokémon Emerald Roms, a search on Google will usually reveal some locations. Just be careful to use a reputable source as a download and ideally make sure that you can for viruses and malware any files that you download. There is more infor on how to download Pokémon Emerald Roms, over on WikiHow. At SuperCheats, we cannot recommend any Rom site in particular, and we do urge you to use caution and safety when downloading any file, particularly ROMs.

Can I save my game after entering codes?

Yes, but be sure that the cheat has not done anything it was not meant to, otherwise you may corrpupt your save file. So no bad eggs etc...

What are Action Replay codes

These are similar to GameShark and CodeBreaker codes, but sometimes the codes used are a little different. We do have a page of Pokémon Emerald Action Replay codes too. In emulators you may also have the option of entering Action Replay codes too.

I keep teleporting to the same place, how to stop?

Likely you've used a warp or teleport cheat and not deactivated it. Check that, and deactivate any warp or teleport codes.

What is the best cheat for Pokémon Emerald?

If we had to pick one, then it would be unlimited master ball cheat, we like this one the best as we can easily catch any Pokémon we want.
