Dalmatian, Because of it's speed & high jumps. Hope I helped.
Actually, any dog works for disc......I would have to say that the beagle or the yorkie are your best bets, but a dalmatian works too.
Really, any dog can do it and for me I think the dalmation or a golden retriever will do good. Also I think it is better to choose whatever dog you like and train it in the park with the flying disc and stuff.
Hope that was useful!!
I agree with the dalmation likes...that was my first dog...theyr great at caching and jumping...a little hint...wen in a disk competion...wait till the dog turns and walks/runs a little before throwing the disc...that way he/she will get a head start and is more likely to cach the disc
Xxx
I think a Dalmation or golden retriever are the best dogs for disc my dogs win everytime they are up to champion and have not lost any.
You can use any dog in the frisbee competition, but larger dogs tend to do better. For a first time owner, a boxer is a healthy suggestion, since they learn quickly, can jump high, and can run pretty fast. There are a ton of other things to do with the disc competition other than breed however. Training your dogs stamina and practicing for the competition play a huge role in winning the competitions. Your dogs bond with you also play a big factor. Winning a competition is more of the training and less of the breed, but certain breeds learn faster than others.
It usually doesn't matter but if you train your dog, keep it in good shape, and love it it will do better than most other dogs. If I had to have an opinion I would say that the bigger dogs might be a bit faster.
