There is an easy way to get money in The Oregon Trail.
First, you should go to the Post at each Fort and begin the minigame. Towards the end of the game, deliberately tap the wrong option. When you are asked to play again for a bonus, select No, which puts you in the Fort yet again and provides you with $1 for all the correct taps. You can obviously repeat this as much as you need to get some easy money.
