What is the difference between a Shaman & a Warlock?

The shaman summon totems which are fire, earth and water. They are also quite good in melee aswell. Warlocks are a magic based race and can summon demonic creatures to help with fighting. Shamans can also wear better armour aswell, leather and shields from level 1 onwards then mail at level 40.

Shamans are like a cross between a worrior and a priest.they can heal and wear really good armour.warlocks are more the group type.they are good soloers but then again they are not.the good thing about them is that the imp doesnt have a happy bar thing

Shaman have totems.
Warlocks have pets.
Shaman can heal.
Warlocks use dark magic.
Shaman are elemental.
Warlock get a free mount at 40.
Shaman have mail and a shield.
Warlock have cloth.

They are very dissimilar and these are just several differences.

Warlock at only range dps and very good at Pvping, and a shaman can heal melee and Range dps, they not as good as warlocks in Pvping, nut really it's up to the player how they play the class.

Shamans have totems as their companion, can use lightning bolts, have a mace and shield, and use all kinds of element stuff. Mages can use fire, frost and arcane and have water elementals as their companion (depends on what specialization)
