Leveling up is very simple. First beat all commanders. Second do all the mission parts. Last try to kill as many people as possible. Try to get 1000 k.os
You will get plenty of exp!
Best charater!Lubu!
The best person to use is in fact Lubu! He is the only charater to have perfect 1000 in all his atributes. Only at level 50 though! He is the best to use if you want to go through the game on chaos. Only thing is he is a major pain to unlock.
Unlock Lu Bu.
Pass Cao Cao, Liu Bei, and Sun Jian's story to unlock Lu Bu.
Unlock Alternate Character Costumes
These costumes become available when you raise a character to level 25.

Unlock Cao Cao:
Clear 3 Wei Musou Modes
Unlock Cao Ren:
Complete target 2 - Fan Castle (Lu Bu side).
Unlock Diao Chan:
Complete 1 Wei, Shu, Wu Musou mode.
Unlock Dong Zhuo:
Complete target 1 - Hu Lao Gate (Lu Bu side).
Unlock Guan Ping:
Complete target 2 - Fan Castle (Shu side).
Unlock Huang Gai:
Complete target 3 - Chi Bi (Wu side).
Unlock Huang Zhong:
Complete target 1 - Ding Jun (Wei side).
Unlock Very Hard Difficulty:
Using any character clear Musou mode.
Unlock Chaos Difficulty:
Complete 1 Wei, Shu, Wu, Other Musou mode.
Unlock Voice Gallery:
Raise a character to level 50.
