People say finish the game and then beat them in versus. But when I go to fight them in versus I can't they appear as a greyscale picture rather than in colour and doesnt let me fight them no matter what I do any 1 help me an tell me wa I need to do to fight them?
When I try the other versus mode when you load up a character it says that he is not there what do I do?

You can only verse them in versus mode, not custom mode. The only way to battle him is to win versus mode with any character and he will just pop out of nowhere and challenge you. You have to win the battle in order to unlock him
