How do I defeat the Executioner?

I am on the pirate ship level. I can not beat the executioner. He is large with gold armor. He has a purple blade. I can not beat him. Nothing seems to affect him. Please any hints would be helpful.

To beat the Executioner you have to be on the fire element. Keep pushing fire, horns, fire, horns and keep doing that. I will warn you he has 3 health lines but with what I did it drains like nothing. But if that doesn't work just tell me I will try to help you as much as possible!

Whenever I try to charge him, he uses that move that surrounds the whole battlefield!
The fire makes his life go down so quickly,
it's like HELL for him!

use dark spyro if you use the cheat code keep blasting him and it does alot of damage he will die in 10 seconds

I think you will find it helps if you jump when he's about to stomp the whole field, and do slow motion when you would like to attack him.

I was using earth and it seemed to be affecting him.

Dragon Guardians answered:

Try using the Fire element instead of Earth. It hurts him a lot more and plus it's faster. When he raises his foot, jump and glide towards him to hit him! Oh, and when he's about to attack you with his sword, use your Dragon Time ability to get away from him. I have not beaten the Executioner yet, but let me know if I was any help!

I can't beat the scorpians on the ship every time I do the knock up thing the other on will attack me

After you knock them in the air and hit them, you have double jump and hold o to smash them

Simple, jump and hit him( on the wii, press b)
Do it over and over, easy as pie
