Time Attack Mode

To access Time Attack mode, hold down Start and the Accelerator while on the Transmission Select screen.

Alternate Ending

To see an alternate ending, you need to place third or better on each track.

Secret View

For an overall view of the race hold down Start, View Change Buttons 2, 3 AND 4 together.

Beginner Course Tips

On the Beginner Course, when you go past the slot machine, push START 3 times. If the machine comes up with three 7s you are rewarded with 7 seconds more time, or three BARS will get you 5 seconds.

Select BGM

To pick your background music, choose the race and it's difficulty. Having chosen your transmission, immediately press and hold V.R. Camera button commands until the race starts:

"The King of Speed" (Beginner "Three Seven Speedway" BGM)

"Let's Go Away" (Advanced "Dinosaur Canyon" BGM).

V.are.3:

"Sky High" (Expert "Seaside Street Galaxy" BGM).

Access Credits

To access the game credits for Daytona USA, you need to win a race and when celebrating on the next lap after the race has finished, if you press Start twice, the credits will display.
