delibird can have its advantages uhh if u catch a metapod out in the wild and never evolve it :/ no attack at all except harden

I'd say Bidoof & Bibarel but they make good HM Mules. To me it's Wooper, Wumple, Magikarp, & Feebas (since the only way to evolve it is to max out its Beauty and that's a beach to do.)

Begs the question; what the heck were they thinking?
It's ugly.
It plays no decent role in the game. Not even in Platinum. And its level dropped in Plat too.
It's got a huge, very popular weakness.
Magma Storm ain't worth the ugly thing that can use it.
BLEH.

That's what makes them useful. They exist to be evolved. you give up power in pre-evolution for power after evolution.

I personally love shednija, but I know a lot of people call him usesless.

i dont know if u are being sarcastic or not, but either way, heatran is an amazing pokemon. Its very potent in th OU environment, and when up against a ground user, switch to a levitater or flying type... it also is pursuit resistant, so someone cant call a switch and pursuit it to death

The most useless pokemon, i say, would have to be farfetched
none of its base stats are over 65
I would love to see this guy get an evolution in gen 5. Lots ofsuckish pokemon get good when they evolve

Well, if bad Pokemon exist to evolve then Magicarp doesn't get the prize. It is probably Metapod and Kakuna; suck when you catch them, and still suck when you evolve them, as they have to many weakenesses...

I wasn't being sarcastic, you'd know if I was. And Metapod? Great point! Butterfree was a terrible pokemon! But/flying just has too many weaknesses.
Meatapod was more useful as a place holder pokemon, so that if one of your strong pokemon faints it can sit there and take damage while you revive and heal you pokemon. Butterfree just always got set on fire, or hit by lightning, or get hit by a rock, or punches in the face or something, and would faint. If you get Magikarp to evolve you have an insanely powerful pokemon that can destroy the whole of the Elite Four on it's own with the right moveset.

I think the lamest Pokemon would have to be Eevee. It's only good attack is Trump Card, and it learns that way after evoloution.

Metapod and Kakuna are actually quite useful! They evolve early on and can learn Tackle/Poison Sting if evolved from their base stage. Up to not learning Tackle, Magikarp is pretty weak with low stats and everything and can only be trained safely with use of an Exp. Share.

By the way, don't bump topics over a month old. This one is way too old!
