Talk about irony, I was telling my brother about why Firefox is great and that he should get it and ditch IE 8. I try to show off but suddenly my Firefox is reset. Skins, Homepage, Settings, everything. Only things that stayed were my downloaded add-ons, saved passwords, and my bookmarks.

I exit out and go back and the thing resets itself again. I've tried installing the newest FF 3 version, no luck. I've even attempted restarting my computer. Nothing, Zip, Nada!

This shucks!

Usually this sort of thing happens when you interrupt a program or the entire computer when it is in the middle of operating. If you make sure not to just randomly turn off your computer via the power button and actually let it completely shut off you shouldn't have that problem. I know because I used to do that.

The files could be corrupted also... Try uninstall and reinstall.

I don't see how that could possibly help.

And I'm pretty sure XP

Yes it does, because FireFox runs well depending on the OS. As we all know, PhilXZ's computer should be obliterated. So I needed to ask.
