George wouldn't have to get use to the weight, he walks around at 195lbs, the only problem I can see George having is Silva's size, but George is just so strong and he has the best takedowns in MMA, and the best wrestling in MMA, and I can't see him having any problems taking Silva down, and when your on the ground, size doesn't matter, your the same size on the ground.

I've seen Silva fight a couple of times and his kicks are quick and lethal. What is GSP kicking game like in comparison?

GSP has some pretty impressive kicks to, he won the title by knocking out Matt Hughes with a head kick.

I hope the match is made soon, sounds like it will be an interesting one. I'll make a point of watching that one live.

To be honest at the moment the only fights I'm really interested in seeing are the championship bouts held in Las Vegas where you get to see the best in the sport and the up and coming stars.

Well you don't know what your missing then Dennis, because last nights fights was awsome!! I saw one of the best knock outs of all time. But to be honest, these fighters are all championship contenders. The new season of the Ultimate Fighter started it and one guy who I trained with a while back is on it, and he won his fight last night, his name is Nick Ring. There were some crazy fights last night, one guys nose was twisted.

It looked more like a lucky punch if you ask me, he wasn't even looking at his opponent when he threw it. I don't think either of the two fighters have ever seen a gym before, they were both in poor condition.

Dennis you should never judge someone by the appearance, for example, look at Fedor Emelianeko, he doesn't look like much, but he's the best fighter in the world. That was no lucky punch, Roy Nelsons game plan was to stay in close and keep his head down to avoid Stefan's long reach, and it worked, sure Roy is fat, but the guy can fight, and he's even better on the ground, he's a Black Belt in Brizilian Jiu Jutsu, and what I always say "how can you possibly win when your trying to get the moon off of you"

well Zelda has a point you cant judge someone by their appearance.on the other hand they could both workout once in a while and by a while i mean every 2-3 days.

It makes you wonder how good Roy Nelsons could be then if he looked after himself and kept in shape because he looks like what is termed in Britain as a 'pub brawler' with that beer belly.

I now live in Barcelona, Spain where I've resided for the past 6 years but previously I lived in London England for 35 years.

To tell you the truth, I think Roy Nelson does eat healthy, but his gut just never goes away...

Is Eric 'Butterbean' Esch still in MMA? Last I heard of him he fought Larry Holmes in a Boxing match and lost a 10 round decision. Butterbean was known as 'The King of the Four Rounders'. That guy was really out of shape, all 400+ pounds of him but as his record could attest, he could fight.

400 pounds! man all he had to do was fall on his opponent.
