Their are two summer movies that I believe will be popular when they come to theaters.

The movies are Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen and Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.

I was wondering which movie people are more looking forward to seeing and why.

I personally am looking forward to seeing both of them when they come out to theaters because I liked the first transformers and I am a fan of Harry Potter.

I haven't seen the first Transformers all the way through, so I won't see the second one until I do (which is probably a long way off). The Harry Potter movies are pretty good (except for the first one, which was rubbish), but I wouldn't go to see them in the cinema.

I liked the first Transformers, so I'd like to see that. Terminator came out a few days ago, but I still want to see that.

I'd prefer to see Transformers, the first film was good. Never been a fan of the Potter films, the first 2 I didn't rate so I haven't bothered to see any of the others.
Let me be the first to congratulate you on witnessing pure perfection!

Can you say Up? Tomorrow? Epic?

Harry Potter sounds like crap. One and two were good, but three was crap, four and five were meh. I expect this one to be crap.

Wanna listen to me rant about stuff? I started a blog!

I doubt I'll see either of those two but I will see Terminator: Salvation. To me that is the movie of the summer, the one I'm looking forward to.

Transformers 2 will defiently take #1 in most popular movie of the summer. After the 1st one setting huge #'s in the Theatre the 2nd one will do the same.

I also cant wait to see the 2nd one, I loved the 1st one :P

Unless the new HP is extraordinarily good, I'd have to say Terminator:Salvation would be the best.

I disagree with K Dawg, I think Terminator: Salvation will do better at the box office. I just feel that the Terminator franchise has a much larger audience than Transformers.

I'm not so sure about that, basically every kid is going to want to see Transformers and I just don't think that many will be bothered about Terminator and that will negate any increased number of fans of Terminator.

Right, when Arnold Schwarzenegger was in it. I think people would rather see Transformers, with the characters they are used to.

I don't think the Transformers franchise is bigger than the Terminator one. The Terminator franchise isn't restricted to kids and there have been several very popular movies and TV shows made based on the Terminator so I think it has the wider audience.

I'm curious about the new Harry Potter, I want to check it out.

Transformers is the big one. Saw the first one and thought it was epic. I can't wait to see 2.

Then, Brüno. My friends just want to go make fun of it. -_-'

I must admit I did enjoy the first Transformers movie, the way they transformed into vehicles was superbly done.

For me it would be a Transformers. Potter is only good in book form and Terminator has lost it's appeal for me since 2.

Also the fact that the trailer for Transformers was absolutely fricken awesome.

~HUGE EDIT!!!~

That was before I watched the terminator 4 Trailer... Now it's Terminator for sure!

Already Seen Terminator Salvation, and thought it was amazing. Definatly recommend it. As for the new Transformers, I hated the first one, so I won't be going to see the new one. Waiting for Black Dynamite too. That trailer is hilarious.

I don't know what all the fuss is about with Harry Potter. The movies are OK but nothing special, they remind me of the Disney movies I used to watch in the 70's without the CGI.

It's because the books were so popular. I don't like either of them.
