Right then, whenever I start up my computer, after the windows vista symbol but before my wallpaper shows, there is a pink screen for about a minute and then everything continues as normal. I've run a virus scan and found nothing, so I'm wondering why I have this pink screen that is now seemingly part of my start up process and how to remove it.

This is very strange and interesting Qwert... I've only heard of Blank black screens, Blue screens, Red screens... It might be a graphics situation, cause that's what my Red screen on my old Compaq I had years ago did, that's what the Comp. Techies' told me anyways.

Read this, and hope it's just your monitor. The other results I'm getting on Google are too varied and serious (as in graphics card related problems).

Happened to me before. It was the monitor. What model is yours?
Either that or it's just being glitchy and needs a quick fix. If you could get me a screen cap, that would help. Otherwise go to a local computer repair shop and make them figure it out.

Well the monitor is having no color issues, it's just that pink screen at start up.
