House M.D.

Possibly the best show.

Gregory House is a doctor at the Princeton-Plainsboro hospital. He's a medical genius, but often takes too many risks to prove just that he is right. He has feuds with just about everybody and is therefore mainly without friends. He has constant disagreements with his boss, Lisa Cuddy, the Dean of Medicine of the hospital, but always manages to get what he wants. He also clashes with his medical team, consisting of Eric Foreman, Remy "Thirteen" [unsure of the last name], and [unsure of the first name] Taub. (I'm not very insightful on their names because they're always referred to by their last names, with the exception of Remy; respectively, they are referred to as Foreman, Thirteen, and Taub.) And to everyone else, i.e. the staff and patients, he acts as the superior "I am right and you are wrong" type of person. What appears to be his only friend is James Wilson, who has an unusual understanding and patience of House.

This is based on the latest Season 5 (although House originally had another person in his medical team in this season; Kutner. But he was dropped out). Season 6 is scheduled to come out some time in late September, but I'm pretty sure it's on the 21st.

I'm looking forward to the new season. :D

It's a great show. I never really watch it though, always forget it's on.

The first episode is, indeed, premiering on September 21st. It's a two hour event starting at 8:00pm and ending at 10:00pm.

i watch it on USA. they should have kept the original cast though

Yeah, I really prefer the original cast as well. I'm glad they never actually left the show completely, though.

I wish that Taub had died instead of Kutner, to be honest. :/

Lol. Wait why did the guy that played as Kutner leave the show? and by leave I mean why was he killed off.

I'm not 100 percent sure, but my friend said it was because he received a job at the White House.

Love the show! I watched the episode already and it's pretty good. No spoilers from me though

I like it. My second favorite show after CSI (Las Vegas).


The newest episode was about what you would expect from a normal episode of House, but it was much longer. I thought it was good, but nothing ground breaking spectacular. All episodes of House are good. Always above average. However, if you were to grade this on House standard I would say it was still good even then, but not even close to the best episode.

Hard to talk so much about it without spoiling stuff...

Hugh Laurie is a brilliant actor. He's my favorite actor on TV. I was blown away when my dad told me he was British.
And Kutner didn't get dropped, he quit because he was offered a job on the Obama administration. Given that, I think they came up with a great way to get rid of him. IT was what pushed the already epic season 5 finale into "Holy Crap, my brain just exploded". Seriously, Best. Season Finale. EVER.

Hugh Laurie is British and you'll probably remember him from the kids movie Stuart Little. His latest movie is Monsters Vs Aliens.

When a meteorite from outer space hits a young California woman named Susan Murphy and turns her into a giant monster, she is taken to a secret government compound where she meets a ragtag group of monsters also rounded up over the years. As a last resort, under the guidance of General W.R. You know, my dad told me about Laurie's preformance in Stuart Little, but I never made that connection. I suppose without the beard I can't see the similarity.

I never saw that movie, although it was supposed to be good. What part did Laurie play?

In Stuart little he was the father,and in Monster vs Aliens he was the cockroach.He hasn't been in a lot of movies has he?

anyways how many of you guys watched the new episode "epic Phail",medical case was boring but some very interesting things happen as the show goes on with the doctors

basically house decided he is going to come back to the department(he quit at the beginning of the episode),but before he does,Taub quits because he was working under foreman now and he said right before he quit."I came to work under house,not you".after the medical case was solved foreman does a very surprising thing and Fires 13,he says he needs her though.anyways the preview of the next episode shows the old gang back together.House,Foreman,Chase,and Cameron so it looks good.also House is still seeing his therapist,I wonder how long they will continue that?

I agree with yousuf that episode was bad,they should just of had House come back in the season premier so we don't need to have the back story for him to return,then we can have him make fun of people.

well I actually read a preview of this season and he will actually be a lot nicer in the beginning parts of the season.to patients and probably his fellow doctors

what? why that's impossible how can you have a good House episode without him making fun of someone?

I liked the new episode. Not as good as the premier, but seeing the whole case with House only giving his two cents every now and then was pretty interesting. The case wasn't bad, and everything else was written well and reflected well on character.
