The only difference is that in the forum you mod, there's a button saying 'Delete' next to 'Reply' and 'Add quote and reply'.

Oh, and, if I remember correctly, you have a little extra toolbar at the top of the forum.

And also, on the main forum page, where it says 'General Boards' and 'Favorite Forums' there's another section titled 'I Moderate These Forums'.
