The reasons I chosee you were because you created the most topics (39) which have a decent amount of interest attached to them - Not usually the most, but overall I feel you put in the most effort in creating topics an posting... You also received the most number of votes - 5.
geezerguy also deserves an honorable mention with 3 votes and 25 new topics, overall your topics were slightly more popular than XZYOE and you posted about 50 more times than XYZOE, the difference in the topics starts was too great.
Thanks to everyone that participated, XZYOE - I'll ask Mark to stick the MVP icon in your forum status panel today hopefully.

The only problem I have with the competition is that it compelled people to make topics and to post. I'd only be interested to see how the site would be under "normal" conditions, i.e. without the announcement of a VIP, heh.

I'd imagine it would be slower. Rich placing it in October was quite strategic since October is usually when we lose a lot of members to school.
