It's no secret that SC is nowhere near as active as it was 3 or 4 years ago. What do we get here now, like 500 posts a day?
Yeah, it's not much, but trust me, SC is far from dead. This place will keep on keeping on for a long time yet.
Even if older members leave, and it does happen, and yes it sucks, there will always be new ones arriving to fill the void.

Well posting in the center breaks the rules...and also answers your question.
In other words part of the reason there are less people on this site is because they got banned or left because as soon as they went to the forums they broke a rule, and got scared. Usually double posting not following the 3 word rule or bumping an old topic. Also people half the people leave after posting on one of the old video game forums and finding out they're dead. :p

When I was here back in '07, the forums were really active, mostly because of the Teams and Clans board, and with Pokemon Diamond and Pearl.
Now, a lot of active members have left, and the new people that join don't always fill the inactivity void.
