First Jobs

For anyone at or over the legal working age, what was your first job? Do you have any stories of things with co-workers or consumers?

I support the black market.

Liek, let's get back on topic now. I was offered a job but denied it cause I couldn't be bothered.

im not of the legal age to work but that doesn't mean i havn't. i worked at this old guys store once. ya know, restocking shelves, cooking for the customers, running things when he was gone. yeah, he trusted a 13 year old kid to run a store. i once had a bit of fun by going into the kitchen of the place and putting habanero peppers in everyone's food. the screaming didn't stop for an hour. apparently, those peppers are too hot for most people.

I've been working for my uncles dry cleaners since I was in high school.

I'd imagine you were fired after that.

i would like to use the phrase "thrown out" more than "fired" but yeah

I wasn't at legal age when I got my first job :P It was back in '04 & I was 12; I got a job stocking fridges at the company my mom worked for at the time. I had to load a huge 2 layered cart with tons of 12 pack canned drinks & stock fridges on 6 different floors. I'd only do the job every friday after school. Made $20 an hour. I'd usually finish in 2 hours & pretend to work for another hour XD made good money for a 12 yr old

Me i do work in a factory cald Haven products thair slogen is "Partner's in exelance"<< that is utter bull crap. thay are the worst folk you could work for. but i get money so i will stick with it and get anuther job << i said that 5 years ago by the way. and after 5 years i hate the place so mutch i wish i could comit arson and get away with it (My maniger has to be still in the bulding )

I've been a pyrotechnic since I was 13. Not sure how legal that is. I've also worked at various concert venues around my wonderful place of living.

In the coming months I believe I'll be coming into a job at a gaming store.

My first real paying job was on a farm last summer. I don't really have any stories but...
There were two girls talking about something and one of them asked. You don't like me very much do you?
The other girl responded: You act ignorant.

Not really a good story though...

i've been working at my dads shop for a while.

At least i get money..i dont get pocket money.

I never got an allowance either.

My first and current job is an Eletrician. Well, currently an Electrical aprentice.

And since I work for my dad, I am at the legal working age in michigan, 14!!

My mom's cousin is in the Greek mafia up in Canada (lol ironic, right?). I want to be in it.
