The strategy is probably making hundreds of topics at the beginning so everyones all like "Screw this, Qwert is going to win anyway." And then he won't have to make anymore topics come the middle of the month because everyone else has given up..

Actually, judging by the kinds of threads that he's made, I'd say he just browses news sites until he finds a story that might interest us, then create a topic about it.
