i know that i've only done one of the flash tutorials but i may not be able to do any more at least not atm, i have too much uni work. I'm busy with character designs and an essay. I may finnish the set around christmas when i am free.

Nah, I took a stock and used various other effects from the same stock.
In my current, the stock contained pretty much everything I needed/wanted. The "C4Ds" you see is actually the scarf thing flying in the wind behind her. I rendered that out and wrapped it around her. Other than that, I took splatter brushes and brushed around for neat little effects. Then I made little balls of light by taking a round, hard brush (in this case, they started out pink but they eventually turned orange after I played with colors), and brushed on top of those with a white soft brush, setting the soft brushed layers to Overlay.
And then I focused on coloring and contrast and lighting and stuff.
/basic tut on current
I find that I like using effects from the same stock and making them work nicely, but of course that depends on the stock you use.

Ok... so my computer had a huge virus, our local network was being hijacked so it took me forever, but I finally made a new account and I am now on Google Chrome, not Internet Explorer. R.I.P.
Thankfully, I also recovered GIMP and I have many new ideas so expect art from me soon. :3

SOTW is done. I was thinking of doing "Dream" or "Surreal", but I decided against it... I feel like that technique may be a bit advanced for any one on here to successfully pull off.
Anyhow, went with Abstract. :P
