Game Guide.

The other day I was in the store noticed that someone was reserving the guide for HG/SS. So I was wondering if anyone here was going to get a guide book or not.

I never saw the point of getting a guide to any game so, I don't plan on buying it.

I've never used a guide for any game. Besides, you can just use this site's Walkthroughs for free if you get stuck, not that it's particularly easy to do so in a Pokemon game.

My mum brought me the guide book to D/P.. I think there was a deal or something, like if you brought the book with the game you'd get the book half price. Something like that. XD

But yeah, I won't be getting the guide. Waste of money. Especially since it's a REMAKE, I very much doubt people will be getting stuck if they played the originals. x]

I agree with the guides being a waste of money. After all they cost almost as much as the games.

I very much doubt that people would have been getting stuck in the originals.

The only part in the originals that I got stuck on was the puzzles in the ruins and the Sudowoodo blocking the path.

The puzzles are easy enough to do on your own. Just remember to not exit out of the puzzle screen until the pieces glow! ;3

I've already played through these games, so I don't need a guide.

I never get a guide, it ruins the game in my opinion.

not this time though.i know what im doing.Johto is my homeground.(cause its were i played my first game)

Sudowoodo tricked me for a while.everytime i would get there,get start and restart the game.and so did cut.i didnt know how to get it.

I've never used a guide. Don't need one, don't want one. Simple as that.

I don't see the point in reserving one, better yet getting one in the first place. I know Johto like it's the back of my hand so there isn't really a demand for me to get one.

The only thing I'd get a guide for is to let them show me where all the items are in a route or a cave. The Pokedex in the back of the book also saves a lot of effort, and it's there to use when the power goes out.

I only used a game guide once before. I used the five finger discount to get one for the Ruby/Sapphire game. Might do the same thing with SS/HG... but I can tell you now, I ain't paying a crapload of cash on it :|

Just go into the store, look up what you need to & get out. That's what I did in Hoenn, kufufu.

The only real game guide I got for a Pokemon game was the one for Platinum, and I got it as a gift. I only really used it for when I was too lazy to go downstairs and look up what I needed on the internet.

I can reserve the game guide?! Never known that until now. I guess I'll try it out when I go to Gamestop tomorrow for the Jirachi event.

Haha I always get game guides, but I probably wont get one for this game (When I actually get the game lol)
