so i did this quest and when i got out of the cave my kid jus stayed in the barn and did nothing, and it said i didnt finish the quest. and btw i have already done this quest 4 times with the same result. WATS HAPPENEING?!?!?!?!?!?!

You know, everyone always complains that this quest screws up like that, but I've never had that problem. I would suggest reloading the checkpoint or resetting the console. That's all I can think of.

thx for the help but i tried it again but still the same results. my kid is stupid!!!

haha you got a stupid kid..joking.
i never had this problem so let me tell you what i did.
1.got to kid.
2.released kid.
3.made sure kid was never hit.
4.finished quest.
if he stays there chuck a few lightning and fireballs his way.
