So let me outline things for you lot. I'm going to, hopefully, be getting a 21.5 inch iMac for free...after spending about a day of my life hovering over the computer. Don't ask. Now of course I hate Macs...but boy do they fetch a nice price! So basically my plan is to get it, and then pimp it out in every way I know how to, software wise. What I'm thinking of is the latest MS Office, all the Mac-only programs, maybe a few movies, a great AV...all those sort of things that will probably end up adding a thousand to its overall value. Now obviously I'll be getting that software through less than legal means, but that's beside the point.
So I'll sell the iMac, and then go shopping for a kickass PC laptop. I'm looking at a price range between $2,000 - $2,500. I'll probably be gaming, surfing the web, plenty of videos, etc. I'm totally open to anything that will work great really. Software is generally not an issue to me. I'm liking this: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Alienware...Id=9693464 ...Again this is all betting that I'll actually be able to get an iMac. You'll know if I don't get it because every iMac on the planet will have been crashed via lightening. T_T Live life as the exception to the rule.

that link no work
friends have recommended Asus laptops to me countless number of times, here's one http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Asus+-+La...Id=9743709 but because you have the possibility of spending a bigger amount of money I'd recommend just going to alienware's main site and building a laptop ![]() PSN-intayaz |

First off, answer these questions:
1. Will I be moving it alot? 2. Will I be playing a lot of games? If you said yes to either of those, I would suggest getting a Desktop... Also, Custom build > Factory built, only time this changes if in laptops... but yea. Are you ready to meet GOD? Sleeping Coffee, my blog. ![]() Thanks for the Avy goes to Tank! Sig by me. If he's going to be moving it a lot he should get a desktop?

After a tad more looking around, it seems to me that with Alienware you're paying quite a bit for the brand. The overall value of this Asus seems much better than the Alienware I was looking at earlier...as sexy as the Alienware looks Asus has much better inner components.
So what I want to know is, is there any reason why I should go with Alien over Asus? Live life as the exception to the rule.

So the Computer God (AKA Arc) helped me find this on BestBuy's site, enter this into search because links suck:"Sony - VAIO Laptop / Intel® Core⢠i7 Processor / 16.4" Display / 6GB Memory / 640GB Hard Drive - Black" - It's $1,349.99

"Gaming" laptops are extremely overpriced for what you're getting and usually have both horrible battery life and tons of overheating and quality control issues. I'd recommend just building a good desktop machine and buying a cheap laptop for when you need it.

Make your own.
No joke. Go custom. Don't get a Dell or Sony or whatever. Customs have huge pros (but a few cons too xP) |

Can you actually do anything with those points, though?
With one/two redemptions per month that only last 15 seconds, not much can be done. ![]() againstall has invaded vasco_gamer @ hotmail. com (remove the spaces) BECKY = 10/10 |

yeah qwert trust me you wont be able to get an imac. there are too many people out there that made special programs and autofillers just to get the imacs. what i do is get as many points as possible and just buy something decent from shop. i bough a backpack which was cool! still waiting for it to come in though.

Thats the thing - I'm one of those people. When I try to do something I learn everything I can about it and perfect all possible methods. Heh, I can get it believe you me. At the very worst there are other expensive items I can fall back on. Vas: It's about 4 per month if you know what to do. Live life as the exception to the rule.

There is nothing wrong with a Mac, to me they are superior, software wise. But thats because I hate Microsoft. My one piece of advice? Don't get a Dell. For the love of god. Do. Not. Get. A. Dell.
