Wow, I'm just now noticing how much this must be helping the main site as far as activity goes. Slow moment on my part.
So Rich, you going to start running this every year in the later months? Or possibly a year long MVP where what members do throughout the entire year counts towards the final MVP, the vote box only appearing in the final month?
Also, I see a black bar at the top of every main site page that says "MVP", but not in forums or teams. Something missed or just not gotten to yet? o_O

@FS - There seems to be a lot of supprot for the competition so it's likely we'll run it again at another time, or a variation of it, I doubt we'll do the triple game giveaway every month though.

I reckon you should have a couple of MVPs where people don't know they're going on as well. To make sure those that have continued activity on the site do get some recognition & don't get swamped by all the people who get active & start swamping the site with subs, posts & what have you only to disappear once its over.

The idea is to get that activity boost and hope that people are inspired top keep posting and submitting after the event. Interesting idea though.

Oh yeah I'm aware of the idea behind it.
It's just that whilst the idea is good in principle, it does often create a shadow over those members who are active all year round, who sub & post in forums regularly but perhaps not to the level of some who are active only during an MVP month(s) & then disappear until the next one.

Yes we get tons of crap submissions, we tr to block them out before they get accepted onto our site, if any do come through as accepted subs please use the report button to let us know, we do check them!
Also - we actually delete around 25 of all guest answers and 90 of guest cheat submissions on an average day.
