Just now my computer is infected with virus I don't know it's doing, it keeps coming up wanting me to buy this software and I can't surf the Internet or anything and I'm on my iPhone at the moment.
I was just doing my normal everyday stuff just posting on supercheats and checking my Facebook, anyone have any ideas on how can I save my poor computer :( |

It might have been with a program you installed, and it can usually come from anything illegal you may be doing (obviously this is not the place to discuss this).
If you can't try to reinstall your software as a whole using a disk, I know there's an option to restore your computer to the beginning (usually called something like "system default"). See if you can do the disk, first, and then you can tell us the software information to help us out a bit more. |

Nope, no idea. I saw a teacher's computer one time that said she was infected & needed to buy some kind of software, but it was a virus. Sound similar?

Ok I forgot to add somemore details because I was panicing and I still am. I've not downloaded anything illegal in my life, I download music but I pay for them which is from iTunes. I took some photos what this virus is doing to my computer here are photos via my iPhone. The virus is called AntiVira.

OK - looks like you're using Windows. XP?
Do you know if you have the disk to download Windows XP (or whatever version you have)? |

Looks like a common peice of Malware or something similar, try running a System Restore back to before you had the problem or if you still can't get your internet running try starting up in Safe Mode with Networking and if it works that way and go download some anti-malware and spyware programs like Spybot and Malwarebytes. Might be useful to get a registry cleaner too.

Yeah the system restore option was blocked off by the virus, and that virus blocked off my internet access >.<
I got a friend of mine and we both researched on how to remove it and we finally got it fixed after 5 hours of research and rooting around with anti-malware programs. Thanks guys the some support Oh and sphynxx that link helped out a little with my research i was doing.

Yeah, get your malware, virus scanners up. IDK that happened to me once too. I still swear it came from a pic. Yours could have come from FB.
Inital block programs would be good. ![]() |

I've had the same thing pop up on me numerous times, usually in my browser after I've googled or used facebook. I use AVG free and just ignore the stuff after I scan.

Yeah I've always had an anti-virus software running everyday since I got my computer. The reason being that the anti-virus didn't pick up this virus I got a couple of weeks ago due to being it a "Rogue" virus. So it could only be picked up by an Anti-Malware Software.

Not sure who's been feeding you that load of horse crap, but a GOOD AV should pick up rouges viruses with ease. Good being pretty much anything but norton or AVG. I suggest either avast! or Avira AntiVir. Are you ready to meet GOD? Sleeping Coffee, my blog. ![]() Thanks for the Avy goes to Tank! Sig by me. Clicking this is bad for your brains. |

It's not going to pick something up unless you keep it updated, and it won't if you knowingly disable avast! for any reason, which is a lot easier than you think. Are you ready to meet GOD?
