Well, over a month now of a lockout. At least the NFLPA and Owners are talking again. I doubt that it will help.
The draft is around the corner. They say Newton or Gabbert will be number one. Who do you think will go number one? Who do you think/want your team to draft? I'm a Dolphins fan. I hope they get Stanzi in the Draft. I think he is going to be the next Tom Brady.
Do you think there will be football next year? If so, who do you think will win it all?

Yeah, you're right, NFL originates from Rugby (quick facts ftw!) but it's not regarded in the same category.

Not much progress. Right now they were ordered by a judge to have a mediator to look over the case.

I think everyone wants more money, but neither side (management/owners vs players) wants to give up any.

Well, the player are a little greedy. I believe they have been getting more of the revenue than the owners. I get not wanting the 18 game schedule, because there is a bigger risk. I believe they want other things too; certain benefits, I guess.

I wanna chime in on the lockout! I have a few buddies in the NFL, Carlton Powell, Jarvis Moss, Knowshon Moreno and it seems as if this lockout is a real pain in the ***. They can workout, just not at the team facilities. When the lockout was temporarily lifted then players went down and received their playbooks and other things. As a player myself I find it frustrating because as a Football player you have a timeline to play and if you don't get to play it tears you down mentally. I am currently 3 to 4 months away from season! Should be fun! I hope my brothers can play as well!

Well, the draft is over. There is no doubt the Giants had the best draft, coming from a Dolphins fan. The Giants were getting 2nd/3rd round talent in the Sixth Round (Jones and Sash). Congrats Giants!
Chiefs had a few good picks, like Stanzi. I think he'll be the next Brady.

My sister dated a player for the Chiefs when she was in High school. Had a great game last week.
