The "New" Super Cheats

To tell you the truth i miss the old SC! I don't think it's only me who believes that the old SC was far better than the new one.

i miss the old supercheats too. i miss the old verison of anything these days.

When I first joined this site ( two years ago and NO FOUR) i remember that a huge number of people joined the site each week. Today, hardly noone joins...

yup. it used to be 10x more active than it is nowadays.

Many members left the site too.

i used to be really active on the teams and clans but most of the chiefs left and the teams died slowly.

You are blinded by nostalgia. You shouldn't look at the past through rose-tinted glasses. Sure, it was more active, but you can't say that the site hasn't come very far and made numerous improvements in the past few years.

Of course, everything was better in the good old days... :/ Mark should never have made so many improvements because it only made the site worse. Everything in the world should just stay the same, nothing should change for the better.

First thing I thought of when I saw this rant.

Personally, I don't remember much of the older SC. Though, of what I do remember, I miss it little bit.

I don't personally think it's the site, it's quality have a look around. It's the majority of the members that post on the forums. Just not the same as they used to be. Me included, but I was a twat back then too, so I'm exempt.

Things change. It has nothing to do with the interface of the website.

Oh, I remember another forum I frequented that had it's share of old-timers who hated the state of things now simply because the rules they lived by were tacit and lenient. It's a fact of life, and the members who shouted the loudest were the ones who precipitated the bucking down.

Instead of grousing about how different and horrible things are now, why don't you all put your fears aside and join our community in being active again? The worst that can happen is that a thread gets closed...usually.

Maybe if everybody actually posted, instead of popping in just to complain, the forums would be cooler. But no, let's just keep complaining and maybe other people will post and it will be super-active, and that's when we'll come in and post.

High five my good man! Especially the video game forums... For example the Minecraft forum I can bet you there are way more people who play Final Fantasy for instance than Minecraft but yet the Minecraft forum is arguably the second most active gaming thread. Why is that? Because we actually make an attempt... If everyone just makes an attempt to get some of the more popular video game topics alive the site will become a better place overall. Activity breeds activity.

The only thing I miss is my black and blue layout.

I like the friends system and generally the bio system, but I believe that more changes shouldn't be done.
