Family

My family is what I consider normal. My mother is rather laid back and just wants us (the kids) to enjoy life and do as we want for the most part. Where as my father is nearly the same but hes 6 ft. 5 in and likes things clean. My friends all used to be afraid of him but he's super nice. My dad's side of the family all love to drink and get into stupid card or get-together-game arguments and my mom's side doesn't ever get together. Normal to me, perhaps others think they're odd but ironically (or not) they're almost an identical mirror of my girlfriend's family.

They barely tried to teach me how to ride a when I was a toddler, and didn't make a proper effort until I was 8 and they still didn't teach me properly. I still can't ride one to this day.

Agreed.Now when i ride my skateboard they laugh and say i cant ride a bike.

Everyone says i look like my dad.everyone.even my teacher at parent teacher interviews.

My dad is also pretty chill.all my friends know that.my mum is strict as but lets me go out most of hte time.and my sister i've become distant to because she sits in her room all the time with her laptop.

You see, if that was true, I would be able to ride one. But I can't. Why? Because balance and practise is also required.

No really... Balance isn't a big deal. O_____o It's seriously not hard. You have to actually try to ride though.

Think of it as learning how to walk. Hard when you're starting, but easy and natural once you get used to it.

I couldn't ride a bike until I was 11. I finally decided to learn after a school activity day. One of the activities was riding bikes. Just before that activity started, I hid behind a flowerbed until it had finished, quietly sneaking back to the group at the end. Nobody noticed my disappearance, thanks to high heaven.

My parents did try to get me to learn to ride a bike, but I didn't really want to at first and they didn't want to pressure me.

Also, on topic, I have a good relationship with most of my immediate family, except my sister.

Yea but its hard when no one gives you instructions.I could probally learn now.But I was 6,no help from any family,all my friends lived pretty far away,and i didnt know how to use the internet.Hell i probally didnt even know what the internet was back then.

I learnt how to ride a bike mostly from my dad, but I learnt how to ride roller blades by my step siblings because they were older than me. But I still can't ride a skate board yet, I will try and master it sooner or later lol.

Swimming... well I was taught from the school learning program that they had every year in primary school.

My family is pretty crazy, but I can't see myself living without them.

Parents have big smoking and alcohol problems, and have to work too much. I can easily take care of myself because they're gone so often. There's a lot of tension between us at times. They're distant towards my brother and me, but they do care about us for the majority of the time.

Lukie cant ride a bike because he wears weird shoes and super tight jeans that squeeze his testes till they almost implode. How can you ride a bike like that?

Mum =very strict.anti enything that contanes enny nudity(sereuly im 26 now and she is still like that). she also hates me smoking. but she has smoked for over 30 years
Dad =dousent really care what i do aslong as its not to inapropreit. i alsohave notest he looks at my shall we say mag colection. tyhe only thing he hates is my smoking .

brother =well what can i say . the brains of the famaly. health freak. sports freak. and wort of all he likegolf :P

I normally get on with my family decent enough, however for the last few weeks they have done nothing but give me crap over nothing whatsoever, so for the sake of the topic I'm going to say my family is full of idiots and I can't wait to get away from the lot of them.

Just so it doesn't look like I'm not exagerating(sp?) as well here's a reason. The other day my dad was trying to move something out of my room that he left in there, didn't even look at me to ask for help, and if he did I would have happily helped him to move it. Instead after less than a minute of being unable to move it alone he flipped out and started screaming at me and called me all sorts, such as a fat useless c**t. Then when I told him I'd have helped if he asked I got told to shut the hell up because I have no respect for anyone.
