THe fizz that comes from Soda and Lemonade is from the Carbon Dioxide disolved into it. Which means that the has been carbonated, which is the general premise of soda. Carbonated Water = Soda Water Soda Water = Soda Thus, Lemonade = Soda
No, they are not. Those are commonly referred to around the world as "soda". Specifically, lemon-lime soda. It even says that on the can. Lemon-lime soda is greatly different from lemonade.
I present to you, lemonade.

But I suppose it comes down to personal onion, seeing how none of us can agree on whether or not it's a juice.
Leave my onions out of this!

You realise that you can't deny what people refer to as lemonade? The fact that you're American, and not the world, and you refer to your product by the name it's given, doesn't mean it isn't given some sort of slang term in other countries. A majority of Australians refer to Lemon-lime soda drinks as lemonade, and that's a fact. I would say due to the fact that actual lemonade is rather scarce in our culture.
Also, you say that 'lemonade without lemon juice is water therefore it is juice'. Lemonade without water is lemon juice, and therefore lemonade is ACTUALLY water.
