There was a scoff.

"You don't don't pay attention much, do you? For as fast as the move with the ground covered in rock, they slow considerably when it switches to this dried out dirt and ash of the of the volcano. As long as we flank them, thing will go just fine."

She this matter of factly, slightly annoyed.

"And I will look at you however I want. Hello Anthas, pleasant seeing you here."

"And that, was your last mistake. Noxus, initiate stage one. Now you governor, you come with me."

The governor backed up, and was on his feet, a look of surprised non surprise on his face.

"I knew you were ambitious but this was unexpected, at least not so soon." There was a nervous tinge behind the statement. The governor could fight, but Xan was a Natural, and that put him at disadvantage.

"What do you plan on even doing? It's not like you'll be able to murder and remotely get away with it."

"Oh, I plan on getting away with it. Governor Kazega, cut in his prime by silly, rebel forces. Oh how swell it would be to take the reigns from you, storm this place into the military dynasty it could rightfully be, and take control of everything."

Xan moved quickly and pull a whip like object out of his back pocket and leapt, lashing out a bolt of energy. Kazega rolled and dodged, dashing for the doors and hitting them, only to be knocked out by a powerful burst of electricity. Xan put the whip away and retrieved the governor, tying him up securely and removing all equipment and tracking devices. The doors opened and he looked up.

"Slick work Noxus."

"Why thank you, it was almost too easy, electrify the door handles. Nice idea."

He is cautious, and the true reason he emitted the BPE particles was to make his body ethereal in case someone tries to seize him as research material or something like that.

"Whether I pay attention or not, it is the safest course of action to take. I'm the only one who will be in danger, and since I can't really die, then there is no need to try and take it down the hard way. I understand that we run the risk of somehow strengthening it by throwing it in the volcano, but even then that simply changes the weakness. To defeat a molten enemy, you simply need a lot of water or a strong continuous wind to harden the magma into a mountain. Unless the elemental balance is different on this world."

Garrus may be an idiot compared to Leila and Garm, but nature is something any decent werewolf naturally understands and feels with every fiber in their multi-form body.

There was a cackle, a elderly higher pitched one. Leila turned and faced the sound, her arm already a gun.

"Show yourself!"

"Dear child, you have nothing to fear from me. I am a Mother of this Land, and you never have anything to fear from mother."

A figure walked out of the trees, a dark skinned, 4'5 woman. She was wearing ornate tribal gear, decorated with neatly placed shells, pebbles and feathers. Her headdress was simple, almost of dream catcher design, but pearly lined the outside. She cared a tall walking staff, almost three feet taller than her, a green orb encased in the thick gnarled wood, glowing.

The tour guide shrugged. "That is talent we don't see come in often, maybe later you could fight off against one of our naturals?"((Then the explosions blah blah.))

Scientist began to swarm the room, backing and securing data, not sure of what that attack really was.

"Please, let me escort you out. This is now not the place for outsiders."

"Hm...I really don't like that sound. This, I take it, is something uncommon? Go ahead and lead on, but if we get dragged in, don't expect us to bow out. We're the meddlesome sort when we come across trouble."

Garm knew that if they were dragged into whatever mess had just been made, Ziedi would want to stay and see if he could fix it. Or, that was the impression he'd gotten of him so far. Garm would prefer to simply find the way into the next zone, but...this was a rare chance to see another culture that held information on the same energy he had become an avatar of. His judgement in this case was slightly clouded.

"And why are you showing yourself to us, entities not from this land?"

Garrus was more in tune with the flow of nature than most other life forms, given his own natural state being a mix of man and beast. One who stands on neither side can see both all the better.

"You wish to prevent us from stopping that monstrosity?"

Ziedi seemed weirdly calm, his hands behind his head and he was whistling softly, similar to "Kill Everyone" by Skrillex. The tour guide threw open another door and lead them into the main building where they started. "You may exit through the same doors, or stay in this spot for security. I recommend staying. With our technology, things always get...interesting to say the least."

Below them however, the head rebels spoke.

"Are you sure?"

"Positive! The energy reading is too high, it has to be a natural."

"Good, we need to capture as many as those as possible. Cysero, are the special shackles guaranteed?"

"Yes boss, I tested them throughly. They re-route all energy expelled to our generators, which should keep the energy level dispersed."

Warlic smiled."Good, good. Now, grab the lights on my signal. 3,2,1...Now!"

Suddenly, the main room of Kro'Nas went dark,and Ziedi and Garm fell into a well cut hole, into Warlic and his crews lap, who instantly tried to shackle both of them.

"Now dearie, I'm not stopping you from doing anything. However, you kill that beast, and I will not be happy. And when mother isn't happy, the land isn't happy. And un-happy land, can be very hostile to those who invoked its wrath."

These last words were eerie, seeming as if harm came if they did, came if they didn't. The mother still wore a smile on her face, so innocent, but yet so powerful.

Garm, being still in his ethereal form, allowed gravity to carry him, but when the fools tried to shackle him, the cuffs passed through him as though he wasn't there. The gravity in the room suddenly increased, forcing the rebels to the floor, making them lay flat without any extra pressure falling on Ziedi.

"And this is why it always pays off to be cautious. Idiots. Did you think you could actually entrap me? I am one with the energy right now. In other words...I am not actually a physical presence. And these cuffs...a great idea, to be sure. For any other living creature with the natural aptitude to interact with the BPE, or whatever it is that you call it. Molecular Adaption Energy, was it? I suppose that is one way this energy can be seen. I prefer to call it a more general name though. Black Particle Energy. With this power, one can control gravity and even the very fabric of substances, changing one thing into another entirely different thing. This has also been called Alchemy where I come from, though the Alchemists were far less able to control the energy than you people are. It's rather interesting, isn't it? How differently this energy can bee seen, used, and named?"

Garm was rather enjoying himself, giving this full course lecture to his attempted captors. He sensed, however, something that made him very unhappy.

"Just what did you connect these cuffs too? I sense a very great and unnatural distortion in this land. I don't like that."

"If you don't want us to fight with that entity, would you kindly guide us to our exit, then? Surely if we can leave, there will be no need for any further conflict with it, or with you. Then we can part on peaceful and possibly even friendly terms. I have no desire to anger the land, nor its mother. I, too, am a creature that stands in the flow of nature, though also with one foot in the flow of civilization. I understand my strange position may offend you, but I prefer harmony with nature to the cold steel of man and civilization. Well, what say you, oh wise and powerful goddess of the world?"

Garrus knows, from previous encounters with similar beings, that being polite, honest, and explanatory of his views and position on the issue with which they confronted him was wisest. Especially since he didn't know this land and the spirits of the nature held within. He only hoped the other two would trust him on this and keep quiet.

Warlic scoffed flat faced on the ground. MAE particles began to release from his body, except they were pure white. Energy began arcing between him and Garm, releasing the gravity hold. He stood up and spat.

"Your a bloody abomination just like them. Cysero!" Ziedi jumped to react and tackle Cysero, but Yulgar, a rather large heavily weaponed fellow got in his way.

"You stay there son. Or I'll crush a leg for ya. The voice may have been friendly but Ziedi didn't doubt it. The bear hug he was in now was quite enough.

Cysero placed a glove on Warlic's hand, warlic steadily keeping up a flow of energy while watching Garm. He moved quickly, the glove realising an invisible like sound wave that re-solidified Garm and dropped him, though his BPE energy should still work. Warlic looked puzzled.

"BPE you called it?





The old lady cackled once again. "You may be apart of nature, but you are not a part of my nature. Now let me assimilate you in the most painful way possible."

Green light began to flow from her staff, putting up a protective barrier as the roar of the Kokobaru could be heard, the ground rumbling from their steps and seemingly the volcano.

"Now, you will feel the wrath of the King of this land, master of the life giving volcano..."

"Indeed, BPE. The purest form of the energy you call MAE. Your white particles are discolored and weakened. It kind of disgusts me, really. However, it does clear up one thing. If I had been captured and cuffed like you wanted-"

Garm smashes one of the cuffs with a BPE tendril that formed from the floor.

"-Then there is a nearly 100% chance that whatever is at the center of that massive disturbance you wanted to feed my energy to would have a horrific meltdown and turn into a super massive graviton explosion or a super massive black hole, effectively ending this world. I'd survive, but that is due to my connection to the energy itself. But, you..."

Garm sighed, like this whole thing was a waste.

"I'd hate for a culture such as yours' to vanish simply because of something like this. A civilization this advanced doesn't occur all that often you know. Many life forms cause self-extinction before this stage. It's such a pity, really. Plus, I have things to do and entities to fight, so I can't risk getting stuck here. Now then, do you really want to fight?"

Garm forms two bowling ball size orbs of BPE in his hands and tendrils of BPE emerge from the ground around him like the tentacles of some sort of demonic squid.

"Because I can't promise I'll hold back against those who would use this pure energy for personal gain."

((Imma drop the other sideplot for the time being, this one is going to end up being slight bigger than I thought. If you want to bring in Garrus go ahead. Plot hole eat you heart out))

Noxus continued the hall, talking. Their forces had already secured the area. "Did you find the key, Xan? Half of our whole purpose, nay, maybe even our whole purpose is gone without it."

"Don't treat me like your inferior Noxus. But yes, we have located it, though the security is proving tricky. It's surrounded in pure MAE."

"And your point? Your a natural."

"No Noxus, Pure MAE. White Mae."

Xan stopped abruptly. "White MAE? You must be kidding me. How? It has been hundreds of years since the last one was captured and the lineage has been strictly watched. Natural energy like that is the obscene now."

"We know, but it appears Kazega was working on that, and actually devised a way to purify our black MAE. He created an inner shield from the outer black MAE to keep the Key of Yin protected."

Noxused began to laugh. "That wisened fool. No one ever thought to check him. And I take it our scanners didn't pick it up?"

"No, even with the White MAE scanners, the energy is still to easy to hide, it bonds to closely to the user."

"No matter then. Secure the room. Blow it. No questions."

Xan stopped, an incredulous look on his face. "Your kidding me..." he said softly.

Warlic erupted, a concentrated explosion of white Mae surrounded him, his body hovering. It was imposing sight due the height and size differentiated. His comrades moved a considerable distance back.

"You dare...call me weak? I DISGUST YOU?! You have NO DAMN RIGHT to even say that. My energy is not the perversion it is the pure bred. And if an insolent brat like you can't recognize that..."

Warlic began to manipulate the energy, creating a sword in one hand, pure energy in the other, the ground cracking beneath him. The small distance between then was electrfied, the two types of energy seemingly fighting. Ziedi had sneakily crossed over to the other side.

"What in the hell is he talking about? The only MAE we have seen is black, like Garm's."


Valencia spoke up."And you would be correct. The black MAE, or Dark MAE reside naturally now in many of the leaders, but it is still a corruption, a tangent of the pure MAE created hundreds of years ago. When the Dark MAE users managed to sieze power, the naturals were gathered and locked up, their energy and bodies tested upon to create the dark gene, infusing it into the next generation of our people, and all but eliminating the Light Mae...But something is wrong here, normally when the two genes clash, the energy is much more vicious, destructive. It's more mild here, your friend...he must."

She stopped for a second, realizing. "WARLIC STOP! Whatever energy he possess is pure, it's not through the dark gene!"

"Impossible! How else could he?"

"I don't know, but back down, we need to discuss this further."

Warlic seethed but began to let off his energy, keeping the sword though.

Though an explosion seemed to rock them a few moments later, the tunnel starting to collapse.

"MOVE! Ziedi said as he jumped for the hole they had created.

"No need."

The tunnel stops collapsing and begins to slowly return to the pre-explosion state of mere seconds before, and new pillars formed from the material that came down when the hole was made, strengthening the support of the tunnel's roof.

"And you are correct, my MAE, or BPE as I prefer to call it, is the most pure, naturally occurring state. There is the dark and the light, yes, but generally speaking, the color of my BPE is only seen to be black, but it is actually just the force of gravity the concentrated particles exert drawing in all color around them, fusing the colors into black, hence the confusion. The original meaning of BPE isn't actually Black Particle Energy, by the way. It was originally Base Particle Energy, but Black Particel Energy dumbs it down for those that can't understand. The energy I use is clear in color, but the physics caused by concentrating the energy caused the light energy around it to be converted into the color black and to project the appearance of black MAE, Dark MAE as you call it."

To make things a bit easier to understand, Garm accessed the Light MAE and shaped it into three different mathematical formulas. Two of them were the formula for the Light and Dark MAE, as they were called. The third was one similar, but fundamentally different and very much more simple that the other two. It seemed so basic and very fundamental, yet so impossible to figure out if not by mere chance.

"This should make it easier to understand. Two of these you recognize, correct? The third is the most volatile and pure form of MAE...BPE. BPE is the foundation for MAE. The two are not quite the same thing. MAE is more concentrated, more focused, and most importantly to you, more stable. BPE is highly unstable, and I wouldn't recommend trying to experiment with it too much. I grew up with BPE as a part of me, which is why I can control it so effectively and safely. Those that try to experiment with it, they usually end up suffering some horrible physical mutation that results in their ultimate demise. BPE is, after all, the energy that holds together the very energy all matter and antimatter is made of. I can freely and safely generate matter and antimatter by converting the matter around me into either one, leaving a void between the creation and the pre-existing materials so as to avoid unfortunate accidents, like the reaction of matter and antimatter making contact. Does that help you understand why this world would be in grave danger should you channel my energies into the distortion?"

Garm is rather enjoying his lecture and feels like he would probably do well as a teacher or researcher here, especially since these people understood what he was talking about.

"For the sake of demonstrations in the near future, I think I will summon my brother and...two others, with whom he seems to be traveling, here."

Garrus quietly pondered this aggression when he remembered that Garm's use of BPE can sometimes cause dimensional gates to open in spacial rifts. This was certainly an area that would be prone to them, but Garm was always filtering the gates. Suddenly, Garrus, Leila, and Anthas were in the tunnel with Garm and Ziedi and the others.

"Well, that was like a plot hole in a mediocre fiction book?"

Well, lacking Anthas, Leila dusts herself off. Ziedi was hanging upside down from the hole's edge now.
"I dunno Garrus, it seemed pretty legit to me.

"I'm not even going to ask." she pauses for a second, looking at her surroundings then up, noticing Ziedi.

"Boy, what are you doing?"

"Pleasant to see you too, Auntie C." The two shared an odd relationship, two of earths greatest weaponized warriors.

Cysero had a wide smile on his face, as did most of the others. "If you ever meet a man named Arceus, talk to him. You two may share something in common."

Warlic cleared his throat."Yes, but that is a story for later. Right now, we need to divide and conquer. Valencia and Cysero, you go with, Ziedi and Leila was it? Judging by that explosion, I'm assuming they broke the lock. You need to intercept them and release the elders they have been siphoning...what's left at least. You, and your brother, Yulgar and I will go after Governor Kazega. Xan and Noxus are rallying and solidifying their stance as we speak, pretty soon, this will be larger than I wish it to be, the destruction would be devastating. Got it?"

"Who died and made him king? Furthermore, where the hell am I now? Granted, it looks better than that festering jungle but not by much."

"Just relax Auntie C, I'll explain on the way.

"You know I hate it when you call me that, makes me feel old."

"Oh stop it, you know you love it." Ziedi retorted with a coy smile. "Valencia, Cysero, lead the way?"

The two nodded and turned down another pathway, leaving Garm,Garrus,Yulgar and Warlic.

"Just for future reference, my brother here can turn into a half-beast state and is an accomplished warrior. Also, there's this."

Garm blasts Garrus' head off with a White MAE orb. He now has thin streams of Dark MAE, Light MAE, and BPE swirling around him, like visible wind.

Garrus' head regenerates, the remnants of the previous head dissolving into steam.

"That wasn't very nice bro."

Garm ignores Garrus.

"I will take your advice to heart, about that Arceus man."

He knows Cysero cannot hear him, but he doesn't care. He feels he owes it to Cysero's intelligence to reply.

"So, what are we doing? Going after the leadership? Bro, what about the key?"

Warlic spoke as he moved rapidly through the tunnels."You will have a hard time finding anything, by now it's probably chaos up top."

And it was, the rebel forces were engaged in deep battle, the cities personal forces, a sight to behold. While the weaponry itself was something to behold, so was the hand to combat, and of course, the battles between the Light and Dark Mae users. The destructive blasts caused when the two types met destroyed buildings. Evidently, warlic had been planning this for a while, especially to find this many light mae users. A transmission rang in his ear.

"Sir! The evacuation teams are having trouble getting in and out quick enough, they'll need more to minimize the civilian costs."

"Alright, switch from Mae to weapons, and get in touch with Cysero for more details. Get any civilians out, we don't need them any more bitter than they will be."

He hanged up, and continued speaking. "I'm assuming Xan and Noxus will be having a force ready for us, Yulgar and I will take care of them, then met up with you later. Your size, speed and obvious skill set put you at advantage to sly around them quicker. Find Kazega, then prepare for the fight of your lives. In addition to Xan and Noxus, two of the best dark naturals, I'm sure there will be three others. Wiley, Seprioth, and Saren."

"Understood. The Key and Gate should be easier to find if we can end this chaos quickly, Garrus. Keep that in mind while you play the fool."

Garrus understood the underlying strategy in Garm's words, but, since he still didn't really know what was going on, he pretended that was an insult.

"Just because I chose nature over culture doesn't mean I'm an idiot bro!"

Garrus changed forms, as Garm had begun flying to keep up, and Garrus knew he'd need to change to match the pace of the larger beings they seemed to be allied with suddenly.

Phsyical Strength: Compared to an average demon he is much weaker in terms of physical strength though is still stronger than the average human. Instead he makes up for his lack of strength in his defense, he skin is tougher like armor it defends him against many attacks well even bullets and swords have trouble cutting him.
Ki,Mystic,Magic Strength: Darkness surrounds him and compacts around him forming a second skin that is much stronger than his own and is almost always active. The second skin grants him improved speed and a slight increase of his own strength. Aside from that he can control and manipulate his own blood, which appears black, allowing him to create skeletons and weapons of his own. In a last resort method he summons from his shadow a large coffin and from it a necryphos comes to his aid. Looks like this. Except coming from it's back are wings.

Description: Piercing red eyes, short, wavy, white hair and gray skin. A strange tattoo running along his right arm across his chest to his neck and up to his left eye. Other than those few odd features he appears like any other human.
Bio: Not much can be said about him other than the fact that mystery shrouds him, so young compared to many other demons but full of power. He lives his life doing many different things and walks his own path. As for his personality he is quite childish but betrays his demeanor occasionally becoming serious and adult like.

If anyone asked how he did it Riku could truthfully say he had no idea, one moment he was walking along minding his own business and the next he was falling headed who knows where. Then just abruptly as it start it stopped, he landed painfully right in front of two beings. He got up slowly and stretched out then stared at everything around him, including the two beings which happened to be Ziedi and Leia.

Garm glanced in the direction that Ziedi and Leila had headed.

"This may be a stupid question, but did anyone else sense that vortex opening in the MAE and BPE, sucking someone else here through the space-time continuum? It seems that large distortion is causing some kind of spacial phenomena similar to how I brought my brother here. It appears to be random, but I can't be sure. There are many small openings being created and dissipated, but once in a while someone gets sucked in at the other end."

Garm wasn't entirely sure how many of the rebels were Naturals, so he wasn't sure if they had felt it too.

"I thought I heard something. Must have been people falling through. That can't be very fun."

Cysero and Valencia were behind Ziedi and Lelia, and Lelia definitively reacted first, leaping from her sprint, tackling Riku and having a Magnum pointed at his skull. She could feel the dark in him though, her Trixon reacting to form a shield for her.

"You have ten seconds to tell me who you are and why you are down here.

"I'd consider that a blessing, that's five seconds longer than normal.

Normally Valencia and Cysero might be breaking this up, but it was really odd for anyone else to be down here, to be honest.

A light marker at the end of the tunnel, signaled their exit, and Warlic stopped there, cutting a hole with his Mae just shallow of the surface and holding it up, while Yulgar did a body count up top.

"All weapon users, eight in all. Two the north, three to the west, two the east, one to the south. The south appears to be captain, as his weapons are emitting the strongest signature. We need to react now, I'm sure someone probably felt that."

Warlic thought, then nodded. "Alright, I'm going east, and with the element of some surprise, shouldn't have to much trouble. Then I'll go north. Yulgar, go west and you two take out the captain. Remember, our advance weaponry is not going to be your every day bullet."

He let that sink in then erupted out of the cut hole, hitting a guard form the east side who had went to investigate, and working up a sword, took him out then quickly went after the other one. The bullets were flying, to say the least.
