So guess, whatever. Based on how many meals you eat and how big they are, what would you say your average daily calorie intake is? You can tell I'm bored when I make a topic like this.

Mine's probably around 3.5-4k. :P

No idea. I don't know the nutritional value (or lack thereof) of what I eat at school. But I'd say between 2500-3000 calories.

~4k is a good guess for right now. I don't usually pay attention to the calories when I scarf down my food.

I have no idea in calories, but the average dietary intake of kilojoules is supposed to be around 8700kJ.

I would wager I'm around 7500-8500kJ. I don't eat particularly healthy, but I'm not eating unhealthily either.

I eat really healthy, not by choice but by what my parents buy. I'd say less than 3000, easy.

"Calories" as cited on the sides of food packets and so on are actually in kcal (kilocalories) and so are 1000 calories each. One calorie is a ridiculously small amount of energy for nutritional purposes.

I have no idea what mine is and it probably varies hugely from day to day. I don't have a very consistent diet.

I try to stay under 2000. I drink diet soda and water, so I'm not really getting calories from that. Did you know... You shouldn't drink more than three sodas weekly? Anyways... If I eat breakfast, I normally don't eat much. Snacks are killing me! XD

I don't do calorie checks but I probably eat under 15g of saturated fat a day, most days about 10g which is half the recommended limit.

I cant really do anything to sugary or fatty anyway, makes me ill.

Actually though saturated fat counting might be a good idea. D: Maybe that will help for sports and stuff..

Saturated fat is a good one to count as its the fat that you dont burn. Sugar for example you can burn but if you eat too much, it turns to this type of crap and it all goes to your arteries.

So counting saturated fat can be a beneficial way to do it..and adding up to 20grms is easier to adding up to 2000 or whatever the limit is.

I did that one time since my school sells donuts as a fundraiser. I felt pretty miserable too.

Diet soda... still has calories.

I actually have a theory that this ridiculous "Oh, it's diet so I can have as much as I want!" attitude is contributing to obesity rates...
