A friend and I were talking about this the other day. After we got done talking I got to wondering how everyone else found this place.
I was coming to SC for awhile for Action Replay codes. I didn't join until a little while afterwards deciding to see what the rest of the place was like and request some codes.

I would think it would be easier to wait till after you got the game instead of memorizing stuff. but that just me.
Its funny but when I joined at first I never really intended to stay. If I hadn't made friends in teams I might not have stayed.

For me, I was looking around the net trying to figure out how I was supposed to evolve my character in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team. I owned Rayquaza and thought I could evolve. Turns out I was still unable to. If I remember correctly, AwesomeWhiteShark told me I needed a cable-link. I thought it was an actual link for the DS, back then. Turned out to be something in-game. I felt ridiculous after that and devoted myself to learning every aspect of pokemon games I possibly could. D:

I'm also torn between Red and Green from Super Effective.
People kept asking me for minecraft skins. I now tell them to go to my website to request them.

I was looking for Pokemon Ruby cheats, tips, anything. I tried other sites, but something about SC had me sold.
It had a better logo.

Back in 2003 or 2004 to look at the unlockables for a DragonBall Z game, I believe. Didn't make an account until 2006, then started posting in old T&C with king26 and Chris, and the rest is history.

No, there is no way to get around that. Not unless you get the legitimate Lv 5 Mew event, or stuff such as Dialga, Palkia or Giratina at Lv 1.
