Nightwish - Imaginaerum
I think they were the only band to release an album last year that I thoroughly enjoyed. Evanescence's new album was pretty good but not brilliant. EDIT - Also listened to Alestorm's Back Through Time earlier, which was released last year. I thought it was good, but they sounded like they were beginning to run out of song ideas. « Last edited by Volke on Jan 3rd 2012 » ![]() Sig and avatar by Ozzo. Thanks. PXE!

I agree on the Nightwish and Evan.
My fav album of 2011 though...I'd have to say Daughtry's Break The Spell. They did an amazing job with that album they really did. Close 2nd has to be Endgame from Rise Against. Those two bands are next on my list to see live. David Guetta and Kaskade both did damn fine for themselves this year as well when it comes to the DJ scene. Live life as the exception to the rule.

Nobody likes Guetta.
I think Odd Soul by MUTEMATH was decent, but not fantastic. But the best album was The Kin's new live album. ubr cuulness by Craizin the raizin. <3 FILIP R POLICE

The only album I listened to the whole way through that was released in 2011 was Set the World on Fire by Black Veil Brides...so I'll go with that.

Blackfield - Welcome to My dna
dredg - chuckles and mr squeezy those two were my favourite albums of 2011. I also liked RED - until we have faces. It wasn't exllent, but i liked it more then there other 2 albums. I was disapointed with Alter Bridge - ABIII. It sounded good the first time I heard it, but then It started to get boring. I also heard Steven Wilson's solo album was exquisitely good, but i Still haven't heard it yet. I also enjoyed Orphaned Land's live DVD. Hopefully, Wilson will work on Porcuipine Tree this year. I also sereiously need to listen to more music X_X. ![]() ^ That guy is GOD "Lost somewhere between immensity and eternity is our tiny planetary home." ~ Carl Sagan

Red was alright, but I was fairly dissapointed honestly. Let Go is still an amazing song though <3

Thanks for the heads up, they're coming to Soundwave in March. I'll set my expectations low ![]() ![]() "The Ferrari-designed engine springs to life with a praiseworthy, deep rich voice that sends chills to the sensory portion of the brain. Not really sure what I would call the best album as it was a bit of a dry year for me but InFlames - Sound of a Playground Fading has definatly had a good thrashing on my playlist as has Nero - Welcome Reality. I just hope this year will have better releases for me.
