I think, if a dream is repeated, it's because it's something that is affecting us in real life a lot.
Like... if you dream about your friend or something, maybe there's something going on with that friend that bothers you or worries you or makes you feel good, or whatever, enough to make you dream about it over and over.
My dreams are in colour, and I believe they always have been. Don't remember ever having a black and white one. Not even a 'clip' of a black and white scene within a colour dream.
I think blind people see, just in a different way. They make images based on sound, touch, scent, and taste. It might not be any actual thing, but some type of abstract thing. And I feel as if that's what they dream about.
They might not have an personal experience with what something looks like, but people can describe things to them, so they get the general idea. And then they dream with that kind of thing.
I don't think I've felt any senses in my dreams, other than sight and sound.
Like... I don't remember ever feeling, say... metal, in my dream. Nor smelling a pie. Nor tasting a blueberry.
