Always fun. Today I mowed and tomorrow I'm gonna try and mow. I have designed a new shooting backstop. Here is a model:
The back wall will be 55-65 inches tall. The side walls will be 6 feet long and made of plywood. The back wall will be 8 feet wide.
The back wall will be 5 or 6 1 1/2 inch by 11 inch boards with about 6 inches between them. the space between will be filled with packed down dirt. Behind all this will be thick rubber fence posts. Oh and the floor will be sand.

Haha. Today I looked at pricing for this design. Way out of budget so I'm going with plan B. Some cinder blocks and a hill. Cost me a dollar.

So I built the new shooting range and christened it with 2 bottles of Sunkist and a bucket full of pond water. For the uninitiated a pressurised soda bottle explodes when shot. Anyway here's some pictures.
Alright so here it is. There are two more directly below it to keep everything level.
And here's me christening it.
Bonus! One of the rounds hit the the cinder block and because it wasn't Full Metal Jacketed it didn't go through. It sort of shattered I guess.

Today started off pretty well. I helped co-lead a raid in an MMO I play a lot. Barely made it through the first twenty floors within the two hour time limit and almost died on the last boss on my last life. So much hype and preparation was put in to it. I was more surprised I was actually made a leader after last minute completions last night. xP

It's a feeling of pure utter accomplishment since it was actually the very first raid I led. xD Though the first twenty floors are kind of easy. The next five from what I heard make the the last one's look like a cakewalk. v: BUT those won't be ready to partake until Wednesday at the earliest. :P

Sounds terrible.
Today wasn't to good. I saw the new Avengers and my only critique is too many jokes. Ultron was like Bane.

Today was 100x better though, work was fun and settling down to dinner soon.
The avengers I liked (first), not seen the second one though.
More of a dc guy, marvel seems to make everuthing too light hearted and aim it purposefully at family friendly audiences.
Much prefer the darker aspects of dc comics and films.
That said, im enjoying daredevil on Netflix just now.
