A question for everyone here: How many people here have communicated with someone online, whether they be from here or some other online community, and gone on to meet them in real life afterward?
It actually happened to me today. A person who is on the staff or a forum I was once banned from happened to live about an hour away from where I'm staying. We met up and had lunch today at a sandwich shop. For me, it was weird — not simply because of our positions, but also due to the fact that we could actually talk about Internet politics at a physical coffee table.
So who else has had an experience like that?

I've never met anyone from online. Realistically, the only person I would be able to meet in the near future is you, Crossy. You're the closest person to me, I believe.

Well I have thought about going to where Lukie lives and actually buying him Jeans that fit but meh, I dont care enough. I think for me it would be very weird as most members here are sooo much younger than me. Unless Rich or Denis decides to come on holiday to Tenerife I highly doubt it.
