I'm into making Digimon sigs lately so I wanna see what everyone thinks of them. Heres my recent one.

Did you paste a render on a background you found, or did you make the background yourself?

Okay. Then all I really have to say is that it's too dark. The focal doesn't stand out enough. And I feel as if all you did was make the background and then pasted the focal over it. Do you have an image of just the background? I think that might look pretty good.

The bottom left and the bottom right should be a bit brighter in my opinion.

just because a sig is meant to be dark doesnt mean it has to look boring. different shades of dark :P
try adding some foreground effects that arent as dark as the bg and some effects behind the focal that arent as dark, just to make it pop more. plus a bit of light to brighten up the focal amongst the darkness is a good idea. if people are critiqing your sig saying its too dark, dont reply with 'its meant to be dark', otherwise youll never learn. Id say this sig is too dark and, no offense, but unfinished.

Ozzo is right, for the longest time I thought that things neck was super thick until realized that was just really dark there. You need to create a balance between your light and dark areas. You can have nice shadows on the focal, but you need to have light to make them visible and have the piece be cohesive.

It did on the monitor I first looked at it on. My laptop at home is fine, but I've noticed my own tags with darker portions will look darker on other peoples computers ;_;

not necessarily dark as in I cant see shait but its a very dull looking sig without, like craizen said, at least some light. I just think light would improve this signature, and I dont know a tag that doesnt use at least some lighting. even the most minute use of lighting can have profound effects on the look of a tag.
