We're all used to forums by now, and think we know everything about SC. We're stuck in our ways and aren't as friendly as when we first joined.

I'll use myself as an example. When I first joined, I was all about making friends. I would put up with anything and want to talk to everyone every day. Now I don't make an effort to make friends with newer people, and I won't put up with a lot of things. I don't make an effort to track down people just to talk with them all day.

New members come all the time, but the older generations are still here and they don't instantly fall in love with the new people. With nothing and nobody holding them to this forum, they move on.

Generation gap

Well, for most people anyway. I've been on this site for two years, and about another two years with my other account (Forgot the password and email got hacked) and i'd still like to make new members, or even old members, feel like home ('Course, for most of them, they will be at home, where they're internet isWiseguy.).
