That is a nice idea, but I have a question: Which benefits the site more - This or that?

People try to answer more times and more helpfully with the MVP known, so this. For instance, I've submitted a lot for Super pokemon rumble blast, seriously.

Hopefully I will be able to get my computer before this month is over. :S

Well they could both affect the site both the same way.

If we have more active teams and clans, people might walk into a different website forum or a different forum and start bragging about their supercheats team, which could get other people wondering and posting and then we should have a more active site.

For subs, thats what most guests come here for. The cheats for their games. If they find the cheats they need they could brag to their friends and possibly join the site and get them to join too. also making the site more active, I guess.

I think was he is saying is that he has found people cheating to win, so they won't win because of it.

Edit. Deleting posts screws up the page numbers for Admins.

I'm really not interested in submitting much until everything's streamlined. I can't stand answering one question, having to click two buttons just to view the answer I just put in, having to go all the way back and scroll down the list to get to the next question. Help A Gamer made it a lot easier, but it's only for unanswered questions - A lot of the unanswered questions are unanswered because they're either impossible to read or no-one can understand them. I'd prefer something be added to it that makes the help a gamer system give you questions that haven't been answered by you yet.

And what's the point of it all in the end? Points? Hooray, it's a number that you can't do anything with. It would be a lot better if people had an actual reason to want points instead of the ego-plus-one.

I know that this way does benefit the site more, and that the purpose is to make guests want to join in and compete, but my main point is that just doing MVP all the time gets old. Have it in different categories. There has only been like one or two MVP for the forums, and i don't think there have been any for the teams.

How aout an MVP award? Or amozen vouchers? Or T-shirts? Or a feeling of acomplishment? Not being sassy, just saying.

This is one of the reasons I don't care for MVP Competitions that much anymore. Many members only sub when there is a MVP Competition. Once the competition is over, they don't sub until the next MVP.

I also don't care much for them because of what Seth said. Having more T&C or Forums MVP Competitions would be nice.

Well I'm dropping out of this as I've realized that I have no motivation. I'll just sub like I usually do (hardly ever at all). I wish we had more MVP's for just forums or teams.

Well, they both help the site in different ways,

The current MVP: Because this site is mostly geared towards video games and helping other people with their video games. So if we get more people to answer questions, more people will come to our site if they want help with their games.

The proposed teams and forums MVP: If the people who come here for their games happens to check through the teams or forums, they might get persuaded to join because the site has an active community. Also if they ask a question in the video games forums, they will have replies in a heartbeat.

Make what you will of this.
