Where have you been?

Hey, I just wanted to catch up with everyone. And for everyone to catch up with themselves.

Here is the challenge:

Sum up the last 5 years of your life in 5 sentences or less.

Begin.

Jameer? Never thought I'd see the day.

The last 5 years have been full of ups and downs for me. I've grown up. I went through some dark times about 4 years ago. Now I'm in my last year of high school, and I wouldn't change a thing. I've got incredible friends and family that mean the world to me. Pretty content right now.

I could spend days detailing every little thing that's happened me in the last 5 years, but in short, I'm currently pretty happy and my path for the future is starting to come together.

I don't know you, but why not get to know, right! :3

The last 5 years I've been home and going to school. My grades were slipping until I got to the ninth grade, which was last year. I was a bit depressed for 4 years and am slowly learning to move on from the past and live in the now. Soo that's basically my last 5 years, a bit lame of me to talk about school and depression, but that's basically what I've been dealing with. No biggie. :P

So where have you been in the last 5 years? :3

I've grown up in the last five years. That's pretty much it.

Uhm. Last 5 years. Girlfriend died of cancer. Mother died of cancer. 5 friends commited suicide, I tried twice. got a job, got engaged, lost the job, ended engagement. Found a new job :D

We dont mess with KFC in Detroit we eat Popeyes and go to the chicken shack. Lmao.

Well I was using KFC as the stand-in since it's the only chicken serving place I know of that deals exclusively in serving chicken :P We don't have Popeyes or anything else here.

High school was great, couldn't have asked for much more by a sports standard. Met new people, made some new friends. Started senior year and a lot of my good friends had just graduated. Despite that, still kept in great touch with them, and still had a great senior year. And now it's off to college in a month! (:

I just graduated this year too. Also going to college in about 3 weeks. So excited haha

It's so crazy thinking about it though! I'm super excited as well, I'm definitely ready to meet new people, plus so many new opportunities (:

Marketing! It's really just a starting point. It sounded like something I'd like, so I figured I'd see where it took me. I'm taking more of a business path with it though, not so much science. How bout you?

That sounds really interesting. My schools got something like that called Interactive Multimedia, though I think that's more focused on writing and designing websites, advertisements, etc.

I'm doing computer science and hoping it takes me somewhere
