Hey guys, the whole mid-Atlantic is about to get destroyed by hurricane Sandy, and I'm pretty sure I'm gonna lose power eventually. So if I'm (and Crossy, probably, and maybe Shawn) aren't on for a few days that's why.

My area's supposed to get hit the worst. Currently peppering my angus.

You prepared for the storm dude? My township is actually being recommended to evacuate, but we don't have anywhere to go so it looks like we're just gonna wait it out. I'm charging my DS, Gameboy, and Nook right now lol.

Nope. Never prepare for this crap. Last time we had it this bad was when the aftermath of Katrina came through and completely flooded our town? We had to leave and stay somewhere else for three days.

Well I'm still alive and with power. I saw some pictures on the news of Crossy's town, though, and it looked completely flooded. Hope he's alright.

I'm in Swedesboro right now, about 50 miles from the shore, and right now we have strong gusts and mist. The eye's just passing over Cape May now.

Nah not Cowtown. I forget what it's called. How are things up your way? It seems like my area really got lucky, but the shore got destroyed.

Swedesboro's fine. We didn't even lose power. Some of the creeks are flooded and bridges are out, though. It looks like I won't be going home for a few days.

Yeah, and they got pummelled. My garage flooded, but many houses got it much worse. In fact, one recently built house on the north end lost one wall of its garage and the whole driveway, and a lifeguard supply shack was tossed onto the road. A marina on the northern end of the island was destroyed as well, and the winds sent boats crashing into houses there.

They might be letting us back in tonight or tomorrow morning.

Oh, and Christie and Obama are supposed to be visiting Brigantine in about an hour.
