Damn dude that's horrible. We took a ride yesterday to go see what happened to Bay Point and the road was blocked by a sheriff's officer. I heard 10 houses and the marina there got destroyed, and some houses in Newport, Fortescue, and Maurice River got flooded as well.

Well, they were on swampland, so of course they were going to be flooded out. I'm also told that Reeds Beach in Cape May County was wiped off the map. And I wonder how the Hope Creek plant made out as well ? it'd be bad if the place got flooded as well (I know Oyster Creek was flooded as well).
I'm going to move this thread to General Chat and rename it (a first for me) — I think people will want to share their stories of Hurricane Sandy.

Well I believe I should get a thank you for killing Sandy, with my bare hands. Granted a few states took a little damage but I was victorious.
Glad to know nothing happened to you guys, I live a little north of Philly we got tons of rain and some pretty strong winds. Basement flooded and little, power and closed streets are actually the biggest problem over here. I lost power late Monday night and got it back this morning. Got a few closed down roads and haven't had school at all this week, also got off tomorrow.
Only other bad thing is a recently fixed bridge near my house went and broke again.
