For those of you using Yahoo or MSN messenger, what do you think of this latest feat of dumbassery by Yahoo? As of December 14th, the two messenger systems will not be able to connect to one another. If you're using MSN and have Yahoo contacts, you won't be able to communicate with them anymore.

I personally hate it. I've used Yahoo Messenger since 2009, and hate to switch to anything else. It's going to be hard to listen to Will ramble on in that overly-smart language of his when we can't communicate.

I prefer Skype these days, just because you can use voice calls too.
But if the want to lose their users then their loss.

hI have MSN logged in all the time out of habit, don't actually talk to anyone on it. It's there to tell me if I have emails :S

Microsoft's just bitter that their planned acquisition of Yahoo! went down the john. That and I still prefer Skype or Facebook for these things. (Don't talk to me about FaceTime.)
