Tbh, (and I'm probably talking a load of ******** here, because I was drinking at a mates 21st when I saw this tv program) from what I saw on this t.v on the discovery (or Nat Geo or something) channel; the Mayan Calander doesn't predict/end at the end of the world. It was thought by those on this show that the calander was more like the end of an era/age in Mayan history.

Hasn't the whole 21st thing been disproven? Because of the whole extra day every four years which was apparently started in the Roman times.
