Old cartoons

Anyone else miss the old cartoons? Like Ed, Edd 'N' Eddy, Courage the cowardly dog, Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokémon, Cow and Chicken, Johnny Bravo and Dexter's Laboratory.

Courage is on regularly on Cartoon Network, though haven't see the others in a while.
Other ones I remember:
AH! Real monsters, Angry Beavers, Ren & Stimpy, CatDog, Invader Zim.
Pretty sure there's some others too

I do still miss the old cartoons and animes. They used to be really good. I miss the old Scooby-Doo and am glad my mom recorded some for me. I do miss Dexter's Laboratory, Pokemon, Invader Zim, Catdog, Powerpuff girls, and alot others too. It's so hard to think of all the old show's I used to enjoy because I was so young. Wish they'd play them more often.

Trust me you're not missing much with Scooby-doo. Hanna-Barbera cartoons are really crap. I get their praise for figuring out on how to make animations cheap, but they also showed how cheap stuff isn't the highest of quality.

Me and my mates always get ****** off when little (stupid - some, not all) say there is nothing to watch. I MEAN... WTF?! I grew up with no TV until 5. And that was only channels 1, 2 & 3. (4 and 5 after they added it on when I was 7). And we had only 2 main channels for "normal" (They were normal back then) cartoons - channels 1 and 3. And we yell at them for saying we don't understand! Man, those born before 2002 and early 2003 (When Sky, Virgin, etc... became worldwide and mainstream) will understand this more than anyone.

Damn, this always gets me so riled up.

I know it's ancient by today's standards but I have fond memories of watching Scooby Doo when I was a kid in the 70's.

They still play updated version of Scooby Doo on CN.

An 'old cartoons' thread that starts with a post about cartoon I watched as an adult... I feel old (er)

I did have a proud moment though recently when one of my kids told me that they were the only one in their class to recognise Betty Rubble and Mutley when shown pictures of them.

And I have been raising them correctly musically as well. They have learned about classical / opera music the same way I did as a child,... from a cross dressing rabbit.

Ugh, classical and opera music is gross. I prefer Rock, some kinds of Pop, and Electronica.

I caught a bit of the new Scooby Doo and they've all got mobile phone now which made me laugh.

Actual cartoons? As the first I remember are Button Moon and Lets Pretend. Cartoons...probably He-Man before they destroyed it

I remember He-Man, he fought that Skellator dude who had a skull for a head and carried a big sword and thrust it in the air and yelled 'By the power of Greystoke' or something like that. I think there was a live action movie made of it starring Dolphin Lungren during the early 90's.

Yes, it was an animation, then I cant remember if it was a film first then they remade the animation or the other way around.
