Oh I'm sure DRM does help a bit, but let's be honest - if you really wanted to get a game for free, you would just, let's say, set sail and click a link. I suppose that's why companies have started with this always-on nonsense. I'm pretty sure I lost a few of my runs in Trials yesterday when my internet dropped. Damn Uplay. They'll never completely eradicate piracy, people are too smart for that. With all the Steam, Amazon, Origin, and GOG sales nowadays there's not even really a point in pirating when you can find almost any game for $10 or less eventually.
