nightmare2, Thank your for the response. Unfortunately, I am being bombarded with revision questions and helping my friends out for the upcoming exams. I'll come back to you once I am finished, hopefully you'll be around.
And the only reason I know about this stuff more than some other people is because I am doing a degree in Physics with particle physics and Cosmology, though I am only in first year :P.
Also, the only point I'll make for now is that Dark Energy is very different than Dark Matter and Newton's laws of motion are very limited and don't hold true when working with large masses or speeds 20% the speed of light.
