I leave for a week to go on vacation and come back to find a pissing contest. Beautiful. Can't we just end it with a concession that every country has its merits and shortcomings. Sure, America's great, Finland is too. It's a bit silly to even compare the two countries on the things everyone likes to compare them on; healthcare, education, etc when Finland is vastly more homogeneous than the US, and when it's population barely exceeds half of our individual states'.

Sorry no, we don't put money on to going to war at other countries for no real reason, we don't need a massive military when we know how to be at peace.

The only reason you are at peace is because we protect the world.

Hahaha. Have you ever fired an AR-15? It's pure awesome in a 30 rounds magazine.

And we do protect the world the Canadian and Mexican armies have scaled down because they are so close to us.

I guess it's not so much we protect the world as we supply freedom to the world.

You know I've been a little insensitive with my posts.

Let me put it like this: There is no greatest country but America is greater than some countries(North Korea, Somalia, Iran, etc...). Without Germany we wouldn't have Heckler&Koch and Walther. Without Finnland we wouldn't have the Suomi KP/-31 a weapon instrumental to the victory of WWII. But besides weapons all these countries offer several other thingss to the world. Maybe you guys would like to share some information about your countries?

I'm sorry if I've offended anymore with the pride I have in my country. I believe that if you don't have pride in your country you should move.
